"Big Blue 10" is a water filter hull that can hold various types of filters (mechanical, activated carbon, resin, etc.) with a standard of 4½ x 10 ". "Big Blue" can be installed both before and after water treatment equipment - softeners, iron removers to protect the equipment from maximum pollution and provide the consumer with quality water. Big Blue-10 is used in both households and industrial facilities.

 

~Brief principle of equipment operation:

"Big Blue - 10" can be installed on cold water metal or plastic pipes. It is advisable to protect the location from freezing. The filter must be installed in a vertical position, thus ensuring maximum filtration efficiency. The essence of the filter is to clean the dirt particles by flowing water through the filtration elements (filters). The installation must take into account the future operation of the filter (easy access to the filter so that the degree of contamination can be monitored and the filter element can be replaced in good time). The filter consists of a hull and a filter head with 1 '' brass inlet/outlet threads. The device has a pressure valve, manometer (provides pressure monitoring). It is possible to equip it with a second manometer, this configuration allows to measure the pressure drop at the inlet and outlet connections.

• Bacterial filter ring "Big Blue" - for filter hull. The antibacterial ring stabilizes the filter in the hull, ensuring the correct vertical position, while protecting the filter from bacteria and other microorganisms (fungi, mold, etc.).
• Pressure meter "Big Blue" - for filter hull. Provides pressure monitoring.
• Nickel extension for "Big Blue" filter hull. It is necessary to screw in the manometer in cases where the filter is equipped with a plastic mount.

• Polypropylene filter

Different degrees of purification are available:  AC-PP-10BB-1 (1μm); AC-PP-10BB-5 (5μm); AC-PP-10BB-10 (10μm); AC-PP-10BB-20 (20μm); AC-PP-10BB-50 (50μm).

• Activated carbon filter "CARBON BLOCK"

Purifies water from mechanical impurities, as well as chlorine and odors.Softens water by the cationite exchange resin method. Reduces organic pollution, microorganisms and bacteria. Improves the taste of water. Suitable for BIG BLUE 10” (inch) hulls.

 

 

• Water softener and activated carbon granule filter

Code: GAC-CSR-10BB. Mechanical degree of purification: 10μm. Softens water by the cationite exchange resin method. Purifies water from mechanical impurities, as well as chlorine and odors. Reduces organic pollution, microorganisms and bacteria. Improves the taste of water. Suitable for BIG BLUE 10” (inch) hulls.

• Granule filter for iron removal from water

Code: AC-E-10BB. Mechanical degree of purification: 10μm. Reduces the iron content in water, improves taste, as well as purifies water from mechanical impurities. Suitable for BIG BLUE 10” (inch) hulls.
